In Little Italy the air is warm and rich with the festive scent of
San Genarro. The festival comes in the wake of September wind, and it smells of amusement park; of tourists; of grilled meats and steamed seafood and frying batter.
At this moment, I'm at home with the silence of a book, and with the sound of traffic and music, interminable, outside.
